Through Provisional Measure No. 1,046 of 2021, the Federal Government made it possible to postpone the payment of FGTS as a measure to deal with the crisis caused by the pandemic.

The possibility of postponing and paying the FGTS in installments covers April, May, June and July 2021, which will be paid without the incidence of fines and charges.

These payments can be made in up to four monthly installments, due from September 2021.

The advantage of adhering to the postponement of FGTS payment at the present time is the possibility for the company to have a breather in its cash flow for the period in which it is released from payment.

The tax team at Marcos Martins Advogados has extensive experience in strategic analysis and planning to adapt the payment of tax debts to the cash flow of companies, and is available to any interested parties to answer questions about this important opportunity.
