As of July 6, Infrastructure Investment Funds (FI-Infra) will also be able to be listed on B3. This means that their quotas can be made available for trading in the stock exchange environment, just like Real Estate Funds and ETFs (Index Funds).

FI-Infra are funds that invest in assets issued to finance infrastructure projects and, according to the director of Listed Products at B3, “their main benefits are income tax exemption and risk diversification, since the funds invest in different assets”.

The product will be settled in D+2, and FI-Infra will have the same trading characteristics as FIDCs.
