On January 28, 2021 , Ordinance No. 11, issued by the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD), was published, making public the ANPD’s Regulatory Agenda for the 2021-2022 biennium.
The projects set out in the Agenda are divided into 3 phases, with Phase 1 activities starting within 1 year, Phase 2 activities within 1.5 years and Phase 3 activities within 2 years.
Among the activities envisaged in the Agenda are the following:
- Publication of the ANPD Internal Regulations (Phase 1)
- Publication of the 2021-2023 Strategic Plan (Phase 1)
- Planning and publication of differentiated regulations for small and medium-sized enterprises (Phase 1)
- Regulations on:
- the rights of the owners (Phase 3)
- administrative sanctions (Phase 1)
- incident reporting (Phase 1)
- data protection procedures (Phase 1)
- impact reports (Phase 1)
- the Data Controller and his activities (Phase 2)
- international transfer (Phase 2)
