Check out the participation of Dr. Jayme Petra de Mello Neto, legal coordinator, in the symposium held by ANEFAC

The firm’s lawyer and legal coordinator Dr. Jayme Petra de Mello Neto took part in the Symposium promoted by ANEFAC (National Association of Executives)on the subject of “Judicial Recovery: what the company must do before entering RJ”.

ANEFAC, which has been in the market for over 50 years, is today Brazil’s leading reference in terms of developing and encouraging corporate transparency. The organization promotes events, debates and professional training in the areas of finance, administration and accounting, as well as generating technical knowledge and fostering a relationship network made up of more than 30 committees, with members and renowned executives, enabling exchanges of experiences and the development of companies.

The Symposium was made up of professionals from all the areas involved in Judicial Recovery, such as the Strategic Committee, Legal, Cash Flow, Accounting, Information Technology, Auditing, Human Resources and Communication.

Dr. Jayme spoke about the organization and perception of the event and how it was received by ANEFAC members:

The topic itself, judicial recovery, at a critical moment like the present, naturally attracts the attention of people and executives who may be impacted, but who are unaware of the details of a process as complex as this. A novelty is the co-participation of ABRH (Brazilian HR Association), which pointed out the lack of engagement of companies in RJ with their human resources professionals, with the mission of starting to form a culture for these professionals to be included in the decisions of such companies.

Considered the best event of 2020 held by ANEFAC, the symposium brought multidisciplinary discussions and was the first on the subject since the association was founded in 1968.

The event took place on July 30 and was broadcast via Zoom Meetings

The Marcos Martins law firm constantly participates in events aimed at corporate business, disseminating knowledge and guidance on best legal practices.
