The National Monetary Council’s (CMN) new rule, Resolution No. 4,854/2020, amended Laws No. 13,636/2018 and 10,735/2003 to provide that obtaining oriented productive microcredit will now be done 100% digitally.
In addition to the new remote stages, the new provision significantly impacts the National Oriented Productive Microcredit Program (PNMPO) by increasing the income range of micro-entrepreneurs who can receive the benefit. The annual gross revenue will increase from R$200,000 to R$360,000.
The resolution is expected to expand the program, make it more accessible and speed things up for micro-entrepreneurs.
