CNJ publishes National Information and Communication Technology Strategy for the Judiciary

On January 28, 2021, the National Council of Justice published Resolution 370 , which established the National Strategy for Information and Communication Technology in the Judiciary (ENTIC-JUD) for the six-year period 2021-2026.

The goal of the National Strategy is to “promote the improvement of governance, management and technological collaboration within the Judiciary, with a view to directing and promoting the efficiency, efficacy, effectiveness and economy of the bodies, with the aim of maximizing results by optimizing resources. in view of its objectives of promoting the digital transformation of the Judiciary”.

In addition, it stipulates that each body must draw up and maintain the Information and Communication Technology Master Plan (PDTIC), which must list the actions that will be aligned with the national guidelines, and a multidisciplinary Information and Communication Technology Governance Committee for its implementation.

In general, the Resolution also dealt with the provision of resources for digital transformation, user service and support, public servants and their training, as well as information security and data protection within the bodies of the Judiciary.
