Due to the expiration of Provisional Measure 928 (“MP 928”), on July 21, 2020, the deadlines for Administrative Sanctioning Proceedings (“PAS”) before the CVM resumed. The PAS deadlines had been suspended by CVM Resolution 848, on March 25, 2020, as authorized by MP 928, which provided that the deadlines would be suspended while the state of calamity due to COVID-19 lasted.
Therefore, the deadlines for the PAS will continue to run as they were on the date of suspension on March 25, 2020.
The other deadlines extended by CVM Resolution 848 are still in force. The CVM informed that it will continue to operate remotely and all documents must be filed through its digital channel.
