The CVM will be making changes to the Empresas.NET system. This system is used by public, foreign and incentive companies to send information. The new version can be downloaded from the CVM or B3 websites as of October 5.
As the main new features, the CVM indicated the implementation of a new chart of accounts for use by financial institutions, some improvements in filling out financial statements and generating reports, among others.
On the other hand, the CVMWeb System has also been updated to receive information on offerings with restricted efforts (ICVM 476) and crowdfunding (ICVM 588). The CVM said that securitization companies and electronic crowdfunding platforms will be able to directly “access the system and register the notices relating to their respective offers”.
According to the CVM’s superintendent, Luis Miguel Sono, “the process has become simpler, faster and more standardized, as is the case with other CVM regulators”.
