The National Department of Business Registration and Integration (DREI) has published DREI Normative Instruction No. 55 with important changes aimed at modernizing and reducing bureaucracy in the procedures for registering corporate acts with Boards of Trade and Registry Offices, including the waiver of the need for notarization and the possibility of electronic signatures.
By dispensing with the need for notarization, the Normative Instruction authorizes simple signatures on documents, as well as allowing the use of digital signatures made via a digital certificate, enabling the subscriber to sign corporate documents from anywhere.
These and other changes brought about by the Instruction provide a more favorable environment for reducing bureaucracy, making the procedure for registering corporate acts faster.
Marcos Martins Advogados is always aware of regulatory changes that affect its clients’ interests and is available to find strategic solutions to their needs.
