The four-day week has been much debated in the global labor market, with companies in some countries already adopting the model as definitive. But, if it were to be adopted in 2024, what would be the legal implications of this trend in Brazil?

According to the expert, in order for a company to be able to implement the 4-day working week without infringing labor legislation, since Brazil does not yet have specific legislation for a four-day working week, it is advisable to contact the workers’ union to reach an agreement detailing the project in order to avoid any future risks.
