On September 29th, BNDES Crédito Serviços 4.0. was launched, a new credit line aimed at financing technological services for “Lean Manufacturing, Digitalization, Internet of Things (IoT), Advanced Manufacturing, Technological Development of New Products and Processes, Basic Industrial Technologies; and Productive and Energy Efficiency”.
According to the Ministry of Economy’s special secretary for Productivity, Employment and Competitiveness, the credit line will benefit small, medium and large companies from different sectors and its main objectives are “to modernize the production structure, with a focus on digitalization and industrial technologies that prepare the productive fabric for advanced manufacturing; to stimulate the digitalization process of micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs); and to enable the implementation of smart cities”.
