On November 25, the Attorney General’s Office of the National Treasury published Notice No. 3/2021, which establishes the deadline and conditions for negotiating debts of up to R$ 1 million with the FGTS.
This type of installment payment will be available until November 30, 2021 and can be made by individuals and companies, covering FGTS debts of up to R$ 1 million that are registered as Active Debt.
Discounts will be applied according to an analysis of the employer’s profile and the debt and can reach up to 70% of the total amount of the debt, while installments can be made in up to 144 monthly installments.
It is important to mention that the discount does not cover the amounts owed to workers and therefore does not reduce the principal amount of the debt.
