With the labor reform, the work of nursing mothers and pregnant women in environments with certain degrees of unhealthiness is now permitted, except for duly certified health reasons.
This issue has once again come up for discussion following a recent decision by the Regional Labor Court of the 24th Region, which ruled that breastfeeding women who work in an unhealthy environment must be taken off work immediately.
