On September 1, the National Mining Agency (ANM) opened a public consultation for a resolution on the use of mining rights as collateral in financing operations. The consultation will remain open for 30 (thirty) days.
The resolution is part of the Lavra Plan, carried out to minimize the effects of the pandemic and bring security to investors. Its aim, according to the director of the National Mining Agency, is “to expand the mechanisms for raising funds, bringing more legal certainty to encourage credit in the mining sector”.
