The importance of crisis management and the post-pandemic outlook for companies were the themes of the webinar “Covid-19: today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow – A strategic vision for managers”, organized by Responsible Management.
Held on August 18 and broadcast via Zoom Meetings, the event was attended by leaders and professionals from the areas of labor, tax, corporate, accounting and management, communication, among others, who provided a macro view of the current scenario and contributed strategic notes.
Among the topics covered were the Labor Provisional Measure, how to deal with contracts in times of Covid-19, the General Data Protection Law (LGPD), government funding for companies, as well as the tax impacts of the global pandemic and best crisis management practices.
The webinar was an event organized by the committee and was mediated by Pedro Menin, a consultant and partner at TBS, who has been working in the market for over 15 years. The professionals shared their experiences and the prospects for action during and after the Covid-19 pandemic.
“Our proposal to talk about today, tomorrow and the day after tomorrow in relation to the pandemic provoked discussions on issues that have a significant impact on the solidity of companies. I believe we were able to contribute to a more consistent outlook for the future,” says Menin.
“Considering the strategic outlook of a crisis committee, new events are expected to be held, which will allow us to deepen the topics already presented and address new issues. The multidisciplinary nature of the committee has a reach into different sectors of companies and the topics are many.”
The committee’s representatives closed the webinar by talking about the challenges of the post-pandemic, highlighting the committee’s areas of activity.
Marcus Santanna, Communications Manager at TBS and Marcos Martins Advogados comments on corporate social responsibility and the positive effects of the committee during these months. “The webinar brought real content and practical lessons to help participants through this period of crisis. And the ethical and socially responsible relationship of the organizers of this project was fundamental.”
The multidisciplinary committee, made up of the law firm Marcos Martins Advogados and TBS Consultoria, has already assisted more than 20 companies and has been providing guidance to clients, partners and members of society through online meetings, with the aim of helping companies from various segments to minimize the impact caused by the new coronavirus pandemic.
