On May 13, 2020, the CVM published CVM Instruction 624, making it possible to submit a proposal for an Administrative Settlement in Supervision proceedings electronically.

The change is part of the measures adopted in response to the Covid-19 pandemic, however, the CVM’s President announced that the change should be definitive, given the advances in our digital channels.

Another change brought about by the Instruction, which modifies CVM Instruction 607, is the express provision that the minimum period of ten working days provided for in art. 25, § 4 does not apply to negotiations of proposals for terms of commitment, since they are not procedures relating to the CVM’s sanctioning action
