Published in the Diário da Justiça Eletrônico of 08/09/2020, Ordinances No. 9.912/2020 and No. 9.913/2020 establish the Privacy and Personal Data Protection Steering Committee, the person in charge of processing personal data for the São Paulo Judiciary and its support office.
After creating its own transparency portal on measures to implement the LGPD(http://www.tjsp.jus.br/lgpd), last month the TJSP redefined its Information Security Policy (PSI) and appointed the civil servants who will monitor the work.
According to the LGPD, the data controller is the “person appointed by the controller and operator to act as a communication channel between the controller, the data subjects and the National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).”
At the TJSP, the Data Protection Officer will be a collegiate body made up of five magistrates, under the coordination of Judge Fernando Antonio Tasso, assistant judge of the Digital Office of the President. The Privacy and Personal Data Protection Steering Committee, in turn, will be coordinated by Judge Gustavo Santini Teodoro, Information Technology Advisor to the President.
